FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) has been in existence for over twenty years. On it's website homepage it describes itself as being a 'Liverpool-based cinema, an art gallery and the UK's leading organisation for the support & exhibition of film, art and new media'. Housed in an impressive modern building are two galleries that feature temporary exhibitions and three screens that display arthouse films. The aim of the organisation is to promote new means of artistic and social communication between people. Four different exhibitions take place in the galleries during the year with films, with similar themes in connection to the exhibitions, also being shown. At FACT, you will also find a bar and cafe.
